Share
Why Vaping?
Vaping offers fast onset, precise control, and portability. Within 5-10 minutes of your first puff, you'll know where you stand. That feedback loop makes it ideal for finding your dose.
Types of Vapes
Disposables
What they are: All-in-one devices. Pre-filled, pre-charged. Use until empty, then discard.
Pros: No setup. No maintenance. Just open and use.
Cons: More waste. Higher cost per mg in the long run.
Best for: Beginners, travelers, convenience.
Cartridges (510 Thread)
What they are: Pre-filled tanks that screw onto a rechargeable battery.
Pros: Reusable battery. More options. Often better value.
Cons: Need a compatible battery. Slight learning curve.
Best for: Regular users who want variety.
Pods
What they are: Proprietary systems where pods click into specific devices.
Pros: Clean connection. Often better vapor quality.
Cons: Locked into one brand's ecosystem.
Best for: Brand loyalists, those who prefer a specific system.
How to Use
Disposables
- Remove from packaging
- If it has a button, click 5 times to turn on
- Inhale from the mouthpiece (most are draw-activated)
- Start with one small puff
- Wait 10 minutes before another
Cartridges
- Charge your battery (USB)
- Screw the cartridge onto the battery
- Turn on (usually 5 clicks)
- Start at lowest voltage/temperature
- Take a small draw
Finding Your Dose
The rule: One puff, then wait.
Effects hit within 5-10 minutes. If you're not where you want to be after 15 minutes, take another puff. Repeat until you find your level.
This "start low and go slow" approach prevents overdoing it—which is the main mistake beginners make.
Troubleshooting
Not hitting: Check that it's charged/turned on. Check the connection between cart and battery.
Burnt taste: Voltage too high. Turn it down. Or the cart is running low/empty.
Clogged: Gently warm the mouthpiece with a hair dryer. Take smaller puffs.
Leaking: Store upright. Keep at room temperature (not hot cars).
Vaping is the most controllable way to consume. Start small, go slow, and you'll find your rhythm.
